At the moment I’m in Hokkaido, resting to recover from my hand injury. (For those who haven’t been following, I played with a moped and flew like a superman and broke my left hand. I am ok though!)

I’m writing to catch up with my blog while healing, and also going Hollywood. Why not, right? This is rather a misleading trailer since I don’t really have a movie coming up, but it gives you a glimpse of my tour in a moving form. Enjoy! :)

  1. I reckon it is about time someone picked up your story and make it into a movie Sachi. I sent your blog to a TV producer who is the son of a friend, but he has his hands full. He produces a show called Bondi Rescue.

But someone is sure to find you. Great writing as usual.

    Very best,
    Steve

Thank you Steve, for your kind words!
I sometimes wonder if anyone is looking at all my writing, but the occasional encouragements from around the world are plenty enough to keep me going. There are so many great finds that everyone would enjoy reading / seeing / eating in Japan, and hopefully I can be someone to introduce all those loveliness to many. :) With the aftermath of tsunami and the current economic situation, we need something happy too.

Just returned to L.A. yesterday from two weeks in Japan (one week in Okinawa… Iriomote Island!… one week in Shinjuku). I already miss the food (it more than makes up for the humidity… in fact a nice cold beer… or two… makes up for the humidity). Now, once again, I must live vicariously through your blog… so keep up the terrific work. Happy eating!

Wow, great! Iriomote! I’d love to visit there someday.
Oh yeah, a cold beer on a hot summer day is the best!!
Thank you for your support, I will keep writing to entertain and spread all this goodness! There are many more awesome stories to tell! :)

Comments! Yay!
